Afterlight Catacombs is a first-person adventure-horror-survival game featuring procedural level generation, inventory management, and maze navigation.
Do not let the mysterious creature see you! It’s very dangerous and is “moderately to extremely” violent up close.
- Use chalk to mark your path so you don’t get lost in the maze.
- Slot-based inventory system for a torch, chalk, bandages, oil flasks, and up to one key at a time.
- Three collectable “lore” items that unlock Steam Achievements.
- Find the skull gate in each level. Some require a key to open, others will open when you throw a lever hidden somewhere in the level.
- To complete the game, solve all five mazes without being caught by the snuffer. The catacombs are magic and each time you play, the maze will be different. No two playthroughs will be the same!
- After completing the fifth level, you will be very close to escaping the catacombs. But beware! You must confront the snuffer and defeat it in a close encounter to regain your freedom!
